Kilfrost TDIce Plus Concentrate

TDIce Plus concentrate is a product with a high glycol content but with the addition of a bonding additive allowing this product to be an enriched, powerful deicer with some anti-icing capabilities. The product has the option also to be diluted as and when required; (5 parts TDIce Plus Concentrate to 3 parts water). The product is a Newtonian fluid and in this viscous form allows the fluid to offer protection from frost and freezing precipitation on the rolling stock for extended periods.

Rolling Stock
The product is used on the underside of the rolling stock to remove ice accretions and render the train in a suitable condition for operation and maintenance. The product can be heated and sprayed using the Nordic de and anti-Icing systems for larger operations, or with an industrial backpack sprayer for smaller scale operations. Only fluids from the Kilfrost TDIce range of products are recommended for use with the Nordic system.
