The TKS de and anti-icing system protects aircraft from in-flight icing by pumping fluid through a porous metal structure that forms the leading edge of the wing. Propellers and tail surfaces can be similarly protected as required. Consult the airframe manufacturers manual for information on the suitability of TKS fluids.

Kilfrost RDF (Rapid Deicing Fluid) is a fully biodegradable, highly effective alcohol based deicing fluid intended for the removal of frozen deposits on light aircraft whilst on the ground, down to -60°C. It can also be used treat exposed metal work such as hanger doors and manhole covers. Easy to apply using a backpack sprayer, the fluid is designed to be used undiluted and unheated.
