Ground Deicing Solids

Ground solids can be applied using a range of equipment suitable to the size of the area you are working with.

Solid deicers are useful when there is heavy or compacted snow or ice. The granules target the ice layer, breaking the ice structure. It is important the solid deicers are spread evenly to prevent patches of ice remaining.

Clearway 6S

Clearway 6S is a solid, acetate based deicer, which melts ice by depressing the freezing point of water and is active at temperatures down to -15°C. The irregular-shaped granules will remain where they are spread and do not easily blow away.
