We’re delighted to announce that we have appointed a new member of staff to our senior team to further build on our growth as a company and to ensure Kilfrost continues to position itself positively for the future.
Ross Elgie, 39, is a chartered accountant and joins as Chief Financial Officer, having previously worked at Christie’s auction house in New York across a number roles and lastly as Regional Managing Director of the Books and Manuscripts and World Art group.
Originally from the Bay Area of California, Ross will help us to further bolster the company’s structure as we continue to explore and disrupt new industries with our Speciality Fluid range.
Ross said: “I’m really pleased to join Kilfrost, which is rightly renowned as a pioneer in safety critical fluid rheology in aviation, and is relied upon each and every winter to keep aircraft flying.
“Of course there’s an inherent risk in relying on seasonal demand; we’re hoping it will be snowy, cold and frosty - and I never thought I’d say that as a Californian!
“That’s why it’s important for the business to continue to explore and exploit opportunities in the speciality fluids division, and I’m looking forward to joining the team on that journey.”
Kilfrost Chief Executive, Gary Lydiate, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Ross to the senior leadership team. His role will make a significant impact on the future positive growth of the business, and his experience serves to underline this.”
