<title>ANA CONTRACT GIVES GREEN LIGHT FOR ECO-SAVINGS</title>
		<description>One
of Japan's
leading airlines has just reinforced its commitment to the environment by
placing a significant order for the world's first de-icing fluid based on
glycol from a sustainable source.

ANA
has confirmed the order for DFsustain with Kanto Chemical
Ind., official licensee
for the Kilfrost range of innovative de-icing and anti-icing fluids, after a
trial last winter season. "We're delighted that ANA has taken on DFsustain
as it has the potential to further reduce the airline's carbon footprint"
explained Kilfrost's Chief Executive Gary Lydiate. "It's a world-first fluid
and truly leads the way in terms of both green credentials and efficacy."

Developed
using a corn sugar-based glycol called Susterra&reg; Propanediol, created by DuPont
Tate and Lyle Bio Products, DFsustain has the potential to use up to
40% less energy in manufacturing than more traditional fluids. And in
performance tests, the fluid was effective at temperatures as low as -40°C.

"We
congratulate Kilfrost on the continued success of DFsustain" stated Steve
Mirshak, President, DuPont Tate &amp; Lyle Bio Products. "ANA's decision continues to demonstrate that
products based on rapidly renewable resources can deliver the high performance
that meets the needs of the marketplace."

The
ANA group set out a Group Ecology Plan which includes a carbon offset
programme, reduce-reuse-recycle initiatives, and participation in the research
and development of biofuels.

<title>DE-ICING EXPERTS HELP AVIATORS BEAT BIG FREEZE</title>
		<description>One
of the founding inventors of the TKS in-flight ice protection system is helping
the general aviation sector overcome another challenging winter season.

Kilfrost
– the 'K' in 'TKS' – has seen a significant increase in demand for its range of
in-flight ice protection products and has recently revamped its online shop at www.kilfrost.com/online-shop/ to make it easier for aviators to
stock up their supplies in convenient pack sizes, including 2.5 and 5 gallon
containers, 30 and 55 gallon drums and 250 gallon totes ahead of any outbreaks
of cold weather.

Patrick
Strasburger, Senior Vice President of the Americas for Kilfrost, said: "This
has been another very challenging winter season for aviators and we’ve worked
hard to keep supplying fluid throughout the worst of the weather. Indeed, we’ve
seen demand for our TKS fluids double over the past year. We are delighted to be
working together with the general aviation sector across the Americas – and the
rest of the world – to deliver supplies to our customers at the right place at
the right time."

Kilfrost
pioneered the original TKS in-flight ice protection system alongside Tecalemit
and Sheepridge Stokes in 1942, and has since worked closely with the Federal
Aviation Administration (FAA) to ensure its ever-expanding range of products
meet – and in many cases exceed – safety and regulatory requirements.

Along
with TKS 406B, the industry benchmark globally for in-flight ice protection
fluids, Kilfrost also produces R328 and TKS80, which are readily biodegradable fluids
that provide protection at temperatures down to -60°C, while it has recently launched TKSsustain, the
world’s first TKS fluid based on glycol from a renewable and sustainable source.

		<title>KILFROST PARTNERSHIP HELPS FINLAND THAW</title>
		<description>The
global leader in de-icing and anti-icing is celebrating after announcing a
partnership with one of Europe's main rail operators which will see one of its
products used in Finland.

Kilfrost
has received its first order of TDIce
Plus by VR, the state-owned Finnish rail company. The order forms part of Kilfrost's
existing partnership with Swedish-based Nordic Ground Support Equipment, who
supply de/anti-icing systems to the rail industry worldwide. Kilfrost's innovative TDIce range of fluids
has been designed to be used with the Nordic systems, which facilitate the large-scale
de-icing and anti-icing of rolling stock.

Following
investment by VR in Nordic's anti-icing equipment, the organisation confirmed
its first order of Kilfrost's TDIce Plus fluid which will be used across the
board on their rolling stock.

The Kilfrost TDIce range,
including TDIce, TDIce Plus and TDIcesustain, are hot de-icing
fluids, designed to be heated and sprayed onto the iced underside of rolling
stock to prevent build-up and to ensure effective operation and maintenance in
even the harshest of conditions. Fully
biodegradable, the products are triazole and nonyphenol-free, with the TDIcesustain
fluid also using bio-glycol derived from a renewable and sustainable raw
material to help reduce carbon footprint.

Gary
Lydiate, Chief Executive of Kilfrost, commented: "We are delighted that VR Finnish
Rail has placed its first order of our TDIce Plus fluid, which has been
developed for application via Nordic's unique de-icing and anti-icing system. We very much look forward to
working together with them, and Nordic GSE, to help protect the country's
trains from the winter elements."

Jules Lajola, Managing Director of Nordic GSE, said: "We are proud that
VR has chosen the unique solution from Nordic GSE to prevent ice build-ups on
their rolling stock."

<title>GETTING ON TRACK FOR WINTER SEASON</title>
		<description>De/anti-icing
expert, Kilfrost, is urging rail operators to finalise their winterisation
plans in light of the start of what is expected to be another challenging
winter season.

With
many companies still counting the cost of delays and disruptions caused by last
year's prolonged cold snap - even before taking into account the recent
outbreak of adverse weather - it is imperative they act immediately to ensure
that rails, brakes, platforms, points and switches, walkways, crossings, pneumatic
systems like air brakes, rolling stock and other infrastructure are properly prepared
to deal with any further periods of heavy snow and frost.

North
East-based Kilfrost supplies a comprehensive range of products suitable for all
rail applications, including 'eco-friendly' anti-icing fluids for use on
electric third rails and the Ice Melt collection
of de/anti-icing solutions, which enables large public areas to be treated in
advance of any bad weather, reducing the risk of slips and trips for passengers
and employees.

Based
on monopropylene glycol, Kilfrost Rail
and Kilfrost Rail Plus can protect
the track against corrosion, prevent points and switches from freezing, and
reduce the problems snow and frost can cause to third rail systems, such as
damaging electrical arcing and loss of power. While the Ice Melt range,
including Power Pellets, Super Grip and Liquid Melt, can be applied to areas
such as platforms, footbridges and walkways before snow and ice is able to form.
These materials have been used as a viable alternative to traditional rock
salt, which can damage concrete, corrode steel and cause problems with track
circuitry.

"Kilfrost
Rail and Kilfrost Rail Plus are water-based, biodegradable and non-toxic. They
prevent frost from forming on the rails and ensure trains can run safely at
temperatures of -25oC and below," said Gary Lydiate, Chief Executive of
Kilfrost. "An independent assessment of Kilfrost Rail Plus by engineering
consultants ARUP has recognised its superior performance and the fact it
exceeds the safety specification requirements," he added.

"Whilst
in an ideal world it's far safer - not to mention more cost-effective - to be
proactive and prepare in advance of any cold weather, it is still possible to
ensure normal rail services aren't disrupted and public safety remains the top
priority even once the snow and ice has formed,” he concluded.

For
over 75 years Kilfrost has led the global de/anti-icing sector and is proud to
work closely with customers in over 50 countries and
five continents. With facilities in the UK, Europe, North America and Japan,
Kilfrost is able to deliver its safety critical products to the Rail, Aviation,
General Aviation, Heat Transfer Fluid and Ground De-Icing sectors. Its

<title>STILL TIME TO PUT PLANS IN PLACE FOR WINTER FREEZE</title>
<description>De/anti-icing expert, Kilfrost, is reminding local authorities and private companies to stock up with supplies ahead of what is predicted to be another winter of challenging weather.
Facilities managers are being advised there's still time to put plans in place to ensure car parks, pavements, playgrounds and public walkways are prepared to deal with any prolonged periods of heavy snow and frost.
North East-based Kilfrost has recently expanded its Ice Melt range, an innovative collection of products, including Power Pellets, Super Grip and Liquid Melt, that enable public areas to be treated in advance of any bad weather, reducing the risk of accidents for shoppers, schoolchildren, students and other members of the public.
"In the past, it's often been the case that large public areas can only be dealt with once the snow or ice has actually formed," said Gary Lydiate, Chief Executive of Kilfrost. "But our Ice Melt product can be applied ahead of any severe weather, cutting the window of opportunity for ice to form, and making it less likely that pedestrians suffer slips or falls."
The product has been developed by Kilfrost following more than 75 years expertise in providing de-icing and anti-icing solutions for the global ground handling, aviation and rail sectors. It is available in three different formulations - granules, pellets and liquid - all of which are completely soluble and don't leave behind a messy residue like traditional rock salt does.
"The products are also fully biodegradable, so aren't harmful to humans, animals or the environment," Gary added. "And they're less corrosive than rock salt, enabling them to be applied near metals, a feature that has proved particularly beneficial already with the rail industry."
For over 75 years Kilfrost has led the global de/anti-icing sector and is proud to work closely with customers in over 50 countries and five continents. With facilities in the UK, Europe, North America and Japan, Kilfrost is able to deliver its safety critical products to the Aviation, General Aviation, Rail, Heat Transfer Fluids and Ground De-icing sectors. <title>FLYING HIGH THANKS TO EXPORT ACCOLADES</title>
		<description>A
local aviation company who is responsible for keeping aircraft flying despite
difficult winter conditions, has reached the finals of the Northumberland
Business Awards in the Export category.

Newcastle
and Haltwhistle-based Kilfrost is the global leader in de-icing and anti-icing,
looking after clients in over 50 countries and five continents, and has already
been presented with the Queen's Award for Enterprise in the International Trade
category this year.

2009
saw the company receive no less than three other accolades for their export
successes all in recognition of their achievement in growing their export sales
by 145% in just three years. "Trading conditions have been tough globally, but
we've worked hard to ensure that we have the most technically-advanced
products, a trusted and reliable logistics network, and a knowledgeable sales
and customer support team, and it's this which I believe has helped us grow our
presence" explained Kilfrost's Chief Executive Gary Lydiate.

"Being
put forward as a finalist in the Northumberland Business Awards is a real
honour because we're proud of our roots in the North East and the nomination is
well-deserved recognition for our manufacturing team based in Haltwhistle and
our sales and marketing team based at our Head Office in Newcastle" he added.

Kilfrost
has led the aviation de/anti-icing sector for over 75 years and was the original
pioneer of the first ever de-icing paste back in the 1940s. The company has
since invested heavily in the development of market-leading products and just three
years ago officially launched the world's first ever de-icing fluid made with
glycol from a sustainable source.

Created
in partnership with DuPont Tate &amp; Lyle, the new fluid is based on glycol
from corn sugar rather than the traditional crude oil base, and the company has
since expanded the range to include an anti-icer with longer term protection
for aircraft, as well as a soon-to-be launched fluid for smaller aircraft which
need in-flight de-icing. The green range is also being offered across the
company's other specialist sectors including the rail industry and ground
de-icing for playgrounds, walkways and public areas.

This
year has seen Kilfrost take on more team members at its offices in Miami, as
well as open a dedicated office in Beijing to service their growing client base
in China. "We operate on a truly global scale and it's important that we have a
physical presence in key parts of the world" Gary Lydiate explained. "We have
invested strongly in our operations in The Americas and China, and have also
expanded our strategic stores and blending facilities in mainland Europe to
support further export sales growth" he concluded.

The
Export Award winner, sponsored by the Port of Blyth, will be announced at a
black-tie gala dinner on 11th November 2010.

Kilfrost
has facilities in the UK, Europe, North America and

<title>AIRPORTS ADVISED TO STOCK UP FOR WINTER</title>
<description>De/anti-icing experts Kilfrost are reminding ground handling teams to ensure they have enough supplies to deal with what is predicted to be another winter of severe weather.
Following on from the challenging 2009-2010 winter season, which saw a prolonged cold snap across much of mainland Europe and North America, airports are advised to stock up with de/anti-icing fluid in anticipation of similarly icy conditions in the months ahead.
"In many cases last winter, we had to more than quadruple our usual supply levels of fluid," Gary Lydiate, Chief Executive of Kilfrost, said. "For example, airports in Italy took the total level of stock we supplied during the whole of the 2008/2009 season in just ten days last December."
Although many airports were challenged by the severity of last winter, most have now made their winterisation plans even more robust and are well placed to cope with similar conditions.
"Many of our customers have been planning months in advance and arranged their first fill of the pipelines during the summer," Gary added. "We'd recommend ground handling teams calculate new, increased stock levels and think about arranging additional storage capacity, as well as scheduling regular top-ups to fluid to prevent any issues as and when the temperature starts to fall."
For over 75 years Kilfrost has led the global de/anti-icing sector and is proud to work closely with customers in over 50 countries and five continents. With facilities in the UK, Europe, North America and Japan, Kilfrost is able to deliver its safety-critical products to the Civil Aviation, General Aviation, Rail, Ground De-icing and Heat Transfer Fluid sectors. Its world-renowned R&amp;D facility continues to develop groundbreaking new products, and the company is continuing to invest heavily in the innovation of ever-more environmentally-friendly de/anti-icing solutions.

<title>DUCHESS PRESENTS AWARD TO LOCAL COMPANY</title>
		<description>

A Haltwhistle-based company has
been officially presented with the prestigious Queen's Award for Enterprise, at a ceremony
presided over by Northumberland's Lord Lieutenant, the Duchess of Northumberland. Kilfrost is the global leader
in de/anti-icing fluids and was selected for the honour in the International Trade category after
achieving an impressive 145% growth in export sales in the last three years
despite difficult trading conditions.

"We are absolutely delighted to
have been selected for such a prestigious award" explained Kilfrost's Chief
Executive Gary Lydiate. "It's
testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, and in these current
times of economic uncertainty we're proud to have been able to grow our
business."

"As well as expanding our
operations with new dedicated offices in North America and China, we've also
invested in our storage and manufacturing facilities across mainland Europe,
the UK, and Japan, and have further strengthened our logistics network
globally, so are well placed for continued strong growth" Gary Lydiate added.

The Duchess visited the site
and was given a tour of the laboratory and factory, before meeting the team and
formally presenting the company with the Queen's Award. "It has been a pleasure
to award the Queen's Award for Enterprise
to Kilfrost today. It not only recognises the company, but the hard work of the
staff based here in Haltwhistle" The Duchess of Northumberland told the
workforce.

Kilfrost currently serves clients
in the aviation, rail and heat transfer sectors across over 50 countries and
five continents. As the original pioneer of the first ever de-icing paste, the
company is proud of its history of innovation and continues to invest heavily
in its renowned research and development laboratory in Haltwhistle.

Recent exciting developments
include the launch of the world's first ever fluid based on glycol from a
sustainable source, in conjunction with Du Pont Tate &amp; Lyle, which offers
the aviation and rail sectors the choice of a truly eco-friendly alternative to
traditional crude-oil based fluids for the first time ever.

"Our team are true experts in
their field and this award highlights the dedication that they have all shown
over the last three years. We're delighted that the Duchess of Northumberland
has taken the time to visit us here, and I'm proud to accept this award on behalf
of everyone at Kilfrost" Gary Lydiate
concluded.

<title>ROLLING SUCCESS FOR KILFROST PRODUCT LAUNCH</title>
<description>A brand new product recently launched by the global leader in de/anti-icing is set to revolutionise the effects of winter weather on the rail industry.
Kilfrost has developed its innovative TDIce product range to help protect rolling stock from frost, snow and ice, and to ensure its effective operation and maintenance in even the harshest of conditions.
Gary Lydiate, Chief Executive of Kilfrost, commented: "We are committed to continual investment in research and development to ensure that we provide the highest quality products to our customers, and are delighted to introduce the TDIce range to our ever-expanding portfolio of products for the rail industry.
"As the global leader in de and anti-icing, we know just how imperative it is for the industry to keep rolling stock operating at optimum capacity, particularly in cold weather, as well as ensuring the safety of personnel and members of the public at all times. As the winter season draws upon us, it is vital that our customers are fully prepared for the worst, and the launch of this new product is designed to help in the fight against potential winter-related incidents.”
The new product range includes TDIce and TDIcesustain, both of which have been developed to be used as hot de-icing fluids, heated and sprayed onto the iced underside of rolling stock to remove build-up. Fully biodegradable, the product is triazole and nonyphenol-free, with the TDIcesustain version using bio-glycol derived from a renewable and sustainable raw material to help reduce carbon footprint.

Developed following over 75 years experience in pioneering specialist de-icing and anti-icing fluids for the aviation and rail sectors across the world, the product range also boasts excellent spraying ability and low foaming qualities, while providing highly effective de-icing performance.
For over 75 years Kilfrost has led the global de/anti-icing sector and is proud to work closely with customers in over 50 countries and five continents. With facilities in the UK, Europe, North America and Japan, Kilfrost is able to deliver its safety critical products to the Aviation, General Aviation, Rail, Functional Fluids and Ground De-icing sectors. Its world-renowned R&amp;D facility continues to develop groundbreaking new products, and the company is continuing to invest heavily in the innovation of ever-more environmentally-friendly de/anti-icing solutions.
