DF Plus (88) is a Type I on-wing de-icing fluid, qualified to AMS 1424 and ISO 11075 specifications, and is designed especially for the Americas market.
DF Sustain is a Type I on-wing de-icing fluid, also qualified to AMS 1424 and ISO 11075 specifications, and is the only Type I fluid available that provides exceptional performance while also meeting today’s stringent green standards with cutting-edge technology.
Type I fluids are primarily used for de-icing and do not offer any significant anti-icing holdover protection. These Type I fluids are commonly used as part of a two-step de-icing/anti-icing procedure where the final application of a Type IV fluid provides the required extra protection.
